ABOUT 'C' THE CAPE TOURS

Cheryl Scott was born in Cape Town, A destination known for its UNIQUE experiences, magnificent scenery & history.  Her love of Cape Town has made her a Top Tour Guide in the region, having extensive knowledge of the colourful history of the Cape, as well as her keen interest in viticulture and the wine industry. Her portfolio includes Public Relations, having worked for Fuji Film & Olympus Cameras, a position which involved a tremendous amount of travelling in the Cape area – up to wonderful places like Springbok, Port Elizabeth & Upington. This unique travel opportunity added to her knowledge and passion for the Cape as a whole.

Having completed the Cape Wine Academy Certificate Wine Course and marketing a range of South African wines in Florida, USA where she lived for over 3 years, re-kindled her interest in the wine routes in which she now specialises.  This has lead her to be closely involved with the "Wine Desk" which is listed on Trip Advisor as one of the "Must" do tours in the Cape. Renowned as a dazzling tourist guide for over 7 years, Cheryl's guiding skills are mostly freelance, operating as a preferred guide for top hotels in Cape Town. With her knowledge, Cheryl has crafted a selection of wine tours that showcase the true essence of the history of the Cape. Guests will tour and taste at some of the classic wineries that are cornerstones in the Cape wine region.
